10 CURTAIN STYLES IN VOGUE

Hey Everyone,

In one of my previous posts I blogged about 7 latest trends in window and door coverings. Today I am going to tell you 10 latest styles that can be incorporated while implementing those trends in curtains.

STYLE 1: TAB TOP

LOOK: Contemporary

PATTERN: Curtain is held by tabs of Fabric, Leather, or Lace, etc.

STYLE 2: EYELET CURTAIN

LOOK: Modern

PATTERN: Metal eyelets fit into topmost area of the curtain and the rod passes through these eyelets to hold the curtain

STYLE 3: PENCIL PLEAT CURTAIN

LOOK: Formal and Neat

PATTERN: Tightly packed pleats of pencil size width gathered at the top of the curtain

STYLE 4: BOX PLEAT CURTAIN

LOOK: Smart, Formal and Minimalistic

PATTERN: Wide rectangular pleats at the top of curtains, especially suitable for heavy and crispy textured fabrics

STYLE 5: FRENCH PLEAT OR PINCH PLEAT CURTAIN

LOOK: Contemporary

PATTERN: Pleats arranged in the group of 3 alternating with large flat areas

STYLE 6: CASED OR SLOT CURTAIN

LOOK: Simple and Informal

PATTERN: Top of the curtain attached to a fabric tube or just turned around and sewn to create a slot, suitable for all light weight fabrics

STYLE 7: GOBLET PLEAT CURTAIN

LOOK: Unusual, Interesting and Formal

PATTERN: Goblets are sewn fabric tubes across the top of the window with contrasting fabric inside to make the curtain look unusual

STYLE 8: SMOCKED CURTAIN

LOOK: Cottage Style

PATTERN: Pleats smocked together and sewn in a pattern that make the rest of the curtain look voluminous

STYLE 9: RUFFLED CURTAINS

LOOK: Semi Formal

PATTERN: Ruffles attached to the seams of the curtains for a delicate look

STYLE 10: DOUBLE PLEAT CURTAINS

LOOK: Formal and Modern

PATTERN: Group of 2 pleats held together alternating with some gap, suitable for formal heavy curtains
